Machina (Version 1)A Poem by CerebriationThis is one of two versions of the same idea. I like the second one better.
Watch the eyes in the sky that look after all the people,
Turn their eyes upon yourself. Watch the machines start thinking. See the human mind shrinking, As the machine presses on. Watch the armies that are sworn to protect you, Turn their eyes upon you. Turn their guns upon you. Watch the soldier's mind shrink. The weapons, too, begin to think. The war has begun. But not a single man will fight. Not a single man will fight. By the time the machines are done, Man or machine will be no more. © 2011 CerebriationAuthor's Note
