Demon

I wrote this after reading a manga then seeing a girl crying because he boyfreind didn't love her.

Slinking through the darkness,

hiding among the shadows.

You say you cannot love,

but I feel it as you fly with me like a black dove.

I may be of day and you of night,

but I was made for the darkness and you for the light.

If I could strike an eternal flame
and enlighten our hearts the same,
You could fly with me thru the dark
And by day I would have your heart.

My heart weeps as my eyes turn away,

As you stand like a sunlit shadow.

For how can I look upon such beauty,

when I have never seen your face during the day.

I owe the second Verse to Michael, thank you I don't think I could have written a demon as well as you did.

I, also, think it was very good. At first, I thought it could've been longer, but length
has nothing to do with quality. I just wasn't ready for it to end ....
