Pegasus SpeaksA Poem by David ScottA blended thought of Pegasus speaking as a lover.
You first saw me,
hidden in the fading light. I was injured, prancing and pawing, proud, untamed, defiant. You saw a magic in me. One of a kind, only to those who would see. You knew I had vision, you caught a shadowed glimpse, thinking I had transformed, to eagle's majesty. You dared to dream, to sit your magnificent steed. We would know the charted lands, held in the map of your imagination. I would give you more, the very wings of angels, as we mount the heavens, where imagination is reborn. Together, untamed, unbridled, we fly desires met, beyond mortal dreams of magic, entwined within immortality. © 2014 David ScottReviews
