Flowing

A response to cryingkate's poem, "RiverWords". This was the gut response to reading her poem and was not a work as much as the pure flow of inspiration. Thank you Kate.

Flowing

How genteel thy words fall upon my eye...
And the voice, so polite while they take a seat in my mind.
Whence comes this messenger,
is it a Saint or friend of "Nick"?
Ah... we sigh together upon our parting,
this river and I.
Bathing in the birdsong of now,
ignoring the distant rumble of a sea
raging...
Mesmerized,
memorizing what is written between each heartbeat,
"Riverwords"

Thank you Craig. I wish I could say I thought of it or came up with it, but alas, some writes are simply gifts from outside of our being. We get to be an imperfect filter of intentions I think... Anyhow, this is a different topic. You are kind to give such a review.

I did not think of this a sensuous, but all heartsongs lead to deeper connection, and this depth of spiritual communion is true sensuality after all.
