Misery

Misery

A Poem by Breezie Kae
"

Late September-ish 2009.

"

I walked away without saying a word,

but if I would've spoken, would you have heard?

I've got a track record a mile long,

letting bliss pass and just write a song.

But the poems don't mean much

when you don't understand the meaning.

Oh what I'd do to touch

a silver screen of faith and bleeding.

So come on see some beauty in me,

come on baby, just let it be.

Come on, misery,

don't take this from me,

expell the feelings too late to see.

To think I thought that things would change,

when it's easier to walk away.

To think I thought that I was brave,

trying to ignore the things that I can't say.

But now it's just a bitter play

without an ending or a start,

and it wouldn't matter what I say

to a twinkled star or a broken heart.

So come on see some beauty in me,

come on baby, just let it be.

Come on, misery,

don't take this from me,

expel the feelings too late to see.
