Sleep, Part II

Sleep, Part II

A Poem by Breezie Kae

I’m so tired, now,

and I’m in a rut, you see.

Don’t know what to know

and sure don’t know what to be.

I could be so brave,

or I could just go to sleep.

I could be happy,

or I could just let it be.

I’m so tired, boy,

but I still have a lot to say.

I can’t take this but

not ready to turn away.

I could be in love,

or I could just be in hate.

I could be blissful,

or I could just stay the same.

But with a little

love I could turn this around.

Just with a little

sleep, and I could wait this out.
