i would sleep through the day..

If you could choose.

Would you stay awake,

during times of light?

 

Or would you choose to sleep,

while all the rest are lively?

Live your life,

under clouds of darkness?

 

Or would you flow,

like all the others,

drifting through the day?

Like a robot through its programs.

A zombie on the move.

 

Or would you take the step,

away from all the others,

and live as you always would have,

if you had ever been given the choice?
