All The Forms Of You

 

My eyes lock with yours,

And I tumble into blue,

And then you become

All the forms of you.

 

I always thought you were my soul mate,

Completely believed you were forever mine,

And that night, I finally confirmed it,

And this truth cannot be denied.

 

I want to tell you how I feel,

But my words won’t succeed at all,

My mouth refuses to open,

So the tears begin to fall.

 

Your eyes, so clear, remain unchanged,

Steady deep, and warm azure,

No matter who you are, or will become,

Of your eyes, I’ll be sure.

 

So tonight, be mine,

And for all the ages, too.

For now I know I’ll always love,

All the forms of you.
