ANOTHER OLD BAG

ANOTHER OLD BAG

A Poem by Eagle Cruagh
"

She`ll last as long as your advice.

"
ANOTHER OLD BAG

Yup !  Just another old bag
She lugged your taters
Kept the slobbers off yer shirt
Carried out the kid`s Sh--stuff
Picked up kitty`s dirt

She`s like advice
Gen-u-wine and wise
She`ll last `til you git home
Then her and the advice jist dies

A bag is not jist a bag
She keeps the frost off yer peach
Carries poisons and stuff
But, everything is not enuff

The gov`ment wants her out
They wanna cut another tree
Jist to show they got clout
Ya want advice from me ?
Say, plastic please
Git on yer knees
Please  ?

Very original. You are quite the advocate for plastic bags. You do so in a very creative and interesting way. I can't stop, don't want to stop till I see you conclusion.

I will never look at a plastic bag the same way again. I love the southern drall your character has and the flawless way you have been able to make it come through to my ear. This is something I struggle with so you are an inspiration in my opinion.

Kept the slobbers off yer shirt Gen-u-wine and wise She keeps the frost off yer peach----these were my favorite lines.

One thing I didn't get were the two last lines. Why get on my knees?
