Me and Myself

Me and Myself

A Story by Elle Alley

I loved that piece of s**t him, and sometimes in weak moments I am still. I’ve never regret the love, he cheated and he lied, but when we were good, it totally felt like he was the one.

I hated him. A LOT. I insulted him. I did question his measure system with my friends, because obviously one of us had the wrong one. And with time and sarcasm, every day was easier than the last. Finally, I decided to let him go before I start writing sad and dark poetry (because I'm literally the worst in this field). You can thank me later for saving you of my poetry.

Now, looking back, I loved and I learnt too. I learnt to be stronger by my own, to control my life, that I was better alone than in pain. I learnt and decided to be an independent woman in the moment I said “F**k this, I had enough”, and still am.

Love your use of the striked text. We've all been hurt, and I can feel your pain here. Great work.

Good for you! We learn from our experiences, which is a good thing.

About
I am curious, happy with a little bit of darkness. I am a human being and that could explain why I make all this mistakes. Anyways, I am fine and ready to write. more..
