Life to Death (Haiku)A Poem by EDRCThis poem was written by: Erica
Death can happen at
Any time, at any age, And to anyone. Everywhere it waits. Like a tiger on the hunt. In this sense, we're prey. Life is a blessing. It is the vital essence Of all existence. However, life is Not a rock; sturdy and safe, It is a river. It ebbs and flows, thus Becoming Death once again. And once more, we're prey. "Dedicated to all those who hold the hand of death and to all with enough life to mourn for them." © 2010 EDRC |
