With only the surface scratched

In an inner circle of the atomic blast

Play chess in the dark with intuition

Fixed in space where children play

Between the lines of reason frayed at the edge

Elegant yet fractured

They go farther if you sleep on them

And never betray the friendly

Touch the soul with levity

Elevated at their best when resting

Expandable thoughts rest in a box

With the appearance of dark filled with light

makes me think of meditations ..and the trick of acknowledging those thoughts ever expanding and wandering but not catching hold of any ..not claiming them ..just letting go expandingly ;))

Hi E. Thanks for commenting. Just exorcising an idea, stretching a thought. Remember, I am from the 60's. People thought I was a hippie on drugs. I was not and I never did drugs. Perhaps I was influenced by some of the poets of the time. I understand transcendental meditation but I never got into it. I do enjoy "far out" ideas, you know. The ones that don't have passports.
