A Spin Around The Block

Technology with all machinery grinds to a halt

Even the stop watch does what it does best

People will be affected if their world simply leaves

Who is to question the nature of unbridled power?

Earth takes one more spin around the block

Calls it a day as it speeds merrily away into space

Leaving an angry sun behind with many questions

Void of reality, left to ponder divorce and lost company

Soon the moon too breaks the engagement

There will be no more dancing under the stars

God smiles on the light He has created from the nothing

But Earth will have to be punished for what it has done
