The pebble and the stone

just another random little thing I decided to share

A mountain stone and a river pebble did one day happen to meet
The mountain stone carried so many miles upon the cattle's feet
And where they a gentlemen and a lady I think there may be a chance
The star-crossed pair may fall in love and share in strange romance
But the pair were silent, so cold and made of rock
Such a shame that they never lived or had the chance to talk
