it rained last night....

last night thunderstorms brought up some old memories again...

It rained last night

First this summer

I should know that it did

I stood out in it

and cried

It made me think of Jr.Mints

and ice cold Dr.Pepper

Petes fish and Chips

and green eyes

A crooked smile

Letters on a window

that you formmed with the rain

but mostly

I just thought of you

and how you no longer ran over

When the monsoon came our way

Last night

I stood in the rain

and cried

for you and nothing more
