Dreamland

Dreamland

A Poem by Eden Reabelle

I'm having dreams again-
Nostalgias of another life
Nothing is what it seems anymore
Not even your cold blue hands-
Not even the Amethyst around your neck

I'm having dreams again-
I lived them long ago
A dreamland of possibility
Nothing seems good enough
Nothing is beautiful in reality

I had a nightmare last night-
We were twin fire signs
With seventeen lies
There was a crow on your spine
A light in you seemed divine

Pink, orange, blue skies-
The dream of plain land
With a neon motel sign
Corpses of corrupt poets
Nothing in between

Then again-
It's just a dream

Everything is but a dream. You are a dream. One I can't seem to wake up from! (Aka you're amazing).
Poetry on point, yet again.
