What's in store for me?
The uncertainty is hurting.
I'm flirting with giving up
And calling it quits.

My life's to s**t,
Plus I'm losing my wits.
The bits of my mind,
I can no longer find,

It's out there stranded.
Whatever is next for me,
Has to be a reality check for me.
In due time we will all see...

I think a number of us can empathize with this one, Jack. Life is full of uncertainty, and I like to be optimistic but it even gets me down sometimes. Even when I want to give up, though, I don't accept that alternative. You've penned the emotions so well as usual.

This is a well written poem that I can definitely relate to. I often feel fearful about the uncertainties that I face in my life. However, this poem seems incomplete. Perhaps, you should try adding a couple more lines.

Sometimes the world is a damn heavy place to breathe in but what's the alternative, giving up and re-learning next time around, gotta hang in there and bite the bullet at times, I totally empathise...poignant piece...
