For The Love Of...A Poem by L'Enfant TerribleI want to eat the entire world, not only a part of it.
When I was a kid
They sat me at the table Despisable people (my parents) Set the important things of life in order and then to ask: "Tell us sun, tell us, what is important?" What the hell I was suppossed to know about such irrelevant matters for the mind of a child? Drugs; I won't do them now God; is when I start to behave seriously bad Politics; I'm a juridical nothing Money; money buys things, I like this. Then time passed little sun became noon sun that was the exact moment and my parents didn't ask So I sat at my own will on the table take the things that makes the world go round out of the magic experiences box and questioned myself: "So now what is important?" Everything So I crashed the table throwing everything far Money, drugs, politics sex, religion, power and faith Education, philosophy, art Health, love, hate, strength and earth. Peace, war, family, purity intelligence, numbness ignorance and beauty. Lies, they're all lies. © 2011 L'Enfant TerribleFeatured Review
