Stage of the Condemned

Stage of the Condemned

A Poem by Effector Prime
"

This poem, Stage of the Condemned, was born from a visceral rejection of the modern justice system’s tendency to glorify convicted murderers through media spectacle.

"

Stage of the Condemned

They built a throne from broken bones,
Lit the pyre with televised moans.
Justice weeps in rusted chains
While killers dance in public flames.

The gallows grin, the spotlight feeds,
Blood becomes the price of deeds.
Victims buried, names erased,
But murderers rise, mythologised, encased.

Is this the law? Or is this lore?
A shrine to those who kill for more.
Reform, they say while silence screams,
And grief is drowned in broadcast dreams.

Confined, yet crowned in spectral light,
Their sins parade through sleepless night.
No remorse, no reckoning due
Just interviews and revenue.

The young will watch, the young will learn:
That fame is forged where morals burn.
That death is just a stepping stone
To viral clips and undertones.

So strip the stage, collapse the frame,
Let justice rise without a name.
No more applause for bloodstained breath
No more rebirth through public death.
