The Bullet Flies

The Bullet Flies

A Poem by Elizabeth Porterfield

Rocking back and forth

On her bed she cries

No time left to say

Her sad final goodbyes

All the pain she's caused

Clouding her misty eyes

Promising she'll not live

To speak anymore lies

She can't stay anymore

No matter how hard she tries

So with the gun to her lips

The bullet flies

Its sad, but very true. Though most won't admit to it, everyone has felt this at some point in their life. Beautiful.
