I woke up this morning
And thought you should know:
That we can still grow.
Side by side.
Until we're old.

Soon enough, I realized:
Life is nothing to waste.
Everything isn't all copy and paste.
So just live in the moment
And grab a quick taste.

After that I figured:
Hey, let's live each moment like it's our last.
Forget and bury the past.
Just gotta smile and have a blast.
I won't hesitate to raise a glass.

And lastly:
There isn't always an easy way out.
But trust me, there's no need to pout.
Just stand up and shout.
And share what life is all about.

I want to figure out a creative title for this and would like some ideas :)

Awww i love this poem and needed to read this. I love the message. But I shed no tears for u.....cuz u seem young....im 30 so im starting to see people are 30 years old already panicking. we need to stop putting these pressures on ourselves and live again :) great piece

Well, I turn 21 in about 3 months...so I am still quite young. But thanks for the feedback and most people need to start thinking this way because if they don't, then they'll end up in a rut with nowhere to go.
