Dear Crow

Dear Crow

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Dear crow,

Why are you so mysterious

And what secrets do your darkest feathers hold?

I would like to know someday,

But only if you are willing.

Nearly everyday,

I see you perched most pleasantly upon a branch.

Cawing at all below you.

I apologize for wanting to know you better.

But your life and ambitions

Have crossed and yet crowded my clearest mind.

I wish to have not wasted your time.

But please take my request into consideration.

Just maybe one day,

Mr. Crow?

I've only read a couple of your poems so far, but I like your style, your voice. A lot.
