Miles HighA Poem by I Am Svetlana
Miles high.
Wishing to die. Closed my eyes. Refusing to cry. Hoping to dry That terrible lie. Miles high. Hoping to fly. Closing my eyes. Asking "why?" Producing a soft sigh. I began to cry. Miles high. I began to die. Never asked why. Silent sigh. Don't cry. One day, we could both fly. © 2013 I Am SvetlanaReviews
