Our Time

I've seen better days
Among the thoughts in my mind.
I wished to catch a glimpse of you,
But only in time.

Throw me into a metamorphosis
In hopes of one day, we could trip.
I'll strip your life away,
As long as you allow me to see today.

You won't live your life alone.
Together, we'll have our secret zone.
I'll find you, hidden among the trees.
And only in bed, will you tease.

I held your life in mine.
Soon, we became one.
We fell in love
And we found our time.

This is honestly a spectacular poem! I love the rhyming and the word choice. I love the last stanza. It show's a lot of feeling and it kinda gives off this sense of safety, like their love is everything they need. This was very beautiful, thank you for sharing.
