All I Am (Tick, Tick, Boom!)

A ticking time bomb.
That's what I am.
A simple zero to sixty.
Tick, tick, boom!
That's all I am.

Prepare yourselves for destruction.
This is the type of war
Everyone was afraid of facing.
So, here I am to rage
And let live.

Soon, you will have seen nothing
But ash and rubble outside your doors.
I have you the war of the century.
Did you survive?
Did the one you love make it out alive?

You all cannot seem to say
What happened that very day.
But as we were simply thinking:
"It was only a matter of time."

Author's Note

I just woke up and finished penning this :) This piece relates a lot to me because it somewhat describes my attitude and how destructive it can be, how I need to learn how to control it and not end up involving those who have nothing to do with it.
