Meeting in DreamsA Poem by I Am Svetlana
As of the night,
I entered my sudden dream. Spinning, twirling. Pretending I was the next Big dance star on television. But something caught my eye, Made my dancing cease. A silence filled the air. Then she appeared. Stepping out, Her lengthy black hair Was stunning. Her eyes, Green and eager for adventure. She wanted to dance with me, Yet wouldn't come near. From there, I calmly held out my hand. Though hesitant, she took it. A part of her, Choosing to trust me. We danced, pranced And paraded dreamland As if it was forever ours. Until we were out of breath, Begging one another for a break. Oh, dearest! I met you in my dream tonight. Just like I said. I remembered our special dance As you remembered how suddenly free you felt. © 2013 I Am SvetlanaAuthor's Note
