No Darkness Defeat, Not For Me

I cannot imagine
What a journey
I have been through.
Being jolted, thrown
Here and there.
Yet, I still managed to crawl out.

The darkness, some days
May swallow me.
But each time,
I know and fight my
Way out again.

I never let
Darkness defeat me.

It will always
Be my shadow.
Living within me.

But always, I know.
It will never disown me.

It will always
Be with me.
Forever a part of me.

But never,
Will I let it
Defeat me.

Basically a poem describing my battle and journey through depression and how I am better at coping with it when it tears down upon me.
