Don't push me away
To save yourself.
Do speak those certain words
To protect me.

I want crave the buried, scarred truth
On why you wish to leave.
Making me stand in the rain
And only question.

My brain will soon overflow
With questions without answers.
It is only now
That I wish not to know.

Please, do leave.
Before I change my mind.
Leaving me
To be the fool I could be.

Very relatable, heartfelt poem you penned here, I Am Svetlana,
Sometimes those we thought we were able to trust the most, friends,
Lovers, even family members, inflict the worst kind of pain upon us

We might have them linger on the fringes in our lives
For a while because the
Realization of being aware of them causing you pain is too hard to face,
yet...one must let them (that person) go, cause in the end,
They're like an infected wound that's demeaning to one's soul.

Eventually they infect your self worth as well.
