Praise Song

Praise Song

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Praise to my aunt
Who attempted to kill herself,
But didn't.
The driver's hit their brakes.
They just couldn't let her.

No one knew that side of her.
Perhaps it was all an adventure
In her eyes.
Those glistening, opaque eyes.
Shimmering in the sunlight.

When she made her way inside,
She was greeted with open arms.
From everyone, even the world.
In her heart, she knew
That no one would judge her but
Herself.

OH, I could relate to this, my mind has the tendency to think of what if's of dying. But it is just all in the mind. And truth I am afraid of dying. It's not something that we could just put to decide an instant. We all have one lives, living to the fullest is our drive to fulfill our dreams. Perhaps you aunt just like adventure, the adrenaline rush for danger or hight of eagerness, that feelings are not like any other. Perhaps a sense of adventure is her thing. A very nice poem
