Midas Touch

Midas Touch

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Don't ever leave
I emptied my life because
You were something special.
You brought me to life.
Kept me awake.
Don't be the nothing
Like the trash I threw away.
Turns out, you weren't the match
To my flame.
All you liked to do
Was play some sick games.
I cannot count the nights
I cried myself to sleep.
Won't think about it.
It hurts too deep.
This one's for you,
Who gave me nothing
When you promised me so much.
If only you had
The Midas Touch.
Even with nothing,
You could still turn my life
To gold.

I believed that there will always something special in every individual in the world, but to match your own soul is the hardest to find. Everything is a game, sickly or not, its all part of experienced, to learn, to move on to the next, to grow as a good person much better to the person who leave you. The thing is our life will be golden if we choose something that makes a good example for us. Like they say Happiness is a choice. Very well expressed.
