IntroductionA Chapter by I Am SvetlanaOnce upon a time, a circus came to town. A seasonal circus
that came every spring and early august-mid September. It had a great success
starting out, good old Mr. Red being the greatest ringleader around. But soon enough as it began, it was said there was a new ringleader, a man called Mr. Shownew. He was said
to have had a different image for the once-famous circus. It is said that he
had switched the circus’ overall image to a point where rarely any customers
showed up, making the circus seem and look like a big joke. Soon after the rare
show-ups of children and customers, Mr. Shownew decided to give up and shut
down the circus for good. It was clear he wasn’t the same as the previous
ringleader, Mr. Red, but he felt he had given his all and that it was time for him to
move on. Soon after the shutdown of the new circus, Mr. Shownew was
said to have abandoned his act and haunt the fairgrounds to whoever decided to
enter uninvited or without a ticket. He would set up dangerous games of his
personal creation to drive the wanderers away, along with his newly talented acrobats by his
side. Many of the children never returned to their families, but stayed trapped
within Mr. Shownew’s abandoned circus and turned into acrobats to carry out
his evil deeds. Since hearing the stories, no one has set foot in the abandoned fairground. No child even dares to go within miles of the place. Everyone believed the rumors and took aware of the stories that were told. Yet, despite these terrible rumors, two boys decide to take a midnight trip to the fairground and uncover the wonderous, dark mystery surrounding Mr. Shownew as of how and why he became who he is said to be now. © 2013 I Am Svetlana |
