Here and Gone

Here and Gone

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

I let you in.
I push you out.
I let you in again.
Over and over.
Every time, like a cycle.
You're here and gone.

I push you out.
I pull you in.
I push you out again.
Over and over.
I can't keep doing this.
But every time, you're here and gone.

I can't let you in.
I can't let you in.
I push you out for the last time.
Can't you see this is for our own good?
You can't stay here. I can't let you.
Every time, you're here and gone.

Once you're out,
I'll lock the door.
Time to dig up my sanity.
You're out there.
I'm in here.

But never again will you
Be here and gone.

Pull in and push away. I've experienced this firsthand. Not a pleasing thing to go through but it does come to a point where you just have to let go in order to move to better things. poem. This poem is straight to the point in a lucid manner. Nice work
