Hospital (Worst is Over)

Hospital (Worst is Over)

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Now that the worst is over,
The doctors predict that I'll live.
All of my family secretly
Stocked up on candles and flowers,
In case I didn't make it.
I was something messy and difficult,
I don't blame them for all they thought.
People finally stop talking
And my ears breathe in the silence.
I hear a slight ringing
And don't hesitate to care anymore.
