Catching Sight

Catching Sight

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

We got caught
In the wrong direction, trying to catch sight.
When soon,
In slow motion, almost exactly,
We caught sight.
Our bodies frozen, feet nailed to the floor.
Perfectly, we were near.
For once, our starting center
Was here.
