My Last Words

My Last Words

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

My last words
Will always be my favorite.
As the moon rises,
I'll slink back deep into the shadows.
Searching the abandoned alleys
For my once lost love.
I had no fairy tale.
Not anymore.
No ending was going to appeal to me.
But I promise
That my last words
Will always be for you.

There is a certain artistry in this piece of poetry. It is concise, and although I never want it to end as soon as I get into it, it takes the reader into a drive-through of emotions that are clearly felt as they are clearly expressed.

Love the poem.

Thanks for sharing.

So touching piece dear, and how sensibly it expressed. Just love it.
