Days Like These

When I wake up in the sunlight
And no ones home,
I can't help but smile.
A perfect day.

Days like these,
I can prowl the house.
Talking to myself.
Having an accurate conversation.

Days like these,
I can read the paper.
Act like I know everything.
I've turned into a genius.

Days like these,
I can drink soda like alcohol.
Just wishing,
Hoping to drown in it.

Days like these,
I can act like
My life means nothing.
As if something mattered before.

But some days like these,
I tend to get lonely.
All my company is gone.
My voice is all I have to comfort me.

Some days like these,
I will begin to dream
That tomorrow
Will be better.

Was my favorite part. It flowed really well.
I also have to add how I like the way it ended on a more serious, realistic note, while still keeping the same attitude.
