Ice Queen

Ice Queen

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

She looked like an ice queen,
As far as we could tell.
Sometimes when we saw her,
I remember thinking to ask her how old she was.
But to her, you'll be just another stretch of imagination.
Close your eyes,
She won't exist five minutes from now.
The last thing she'd ever see,
And then the last words I'd hear her say:
You're killing me.

This was a punch to the gut. Powerful work.
Raw emotion throughout.
