Burning Skies & Kaleidoscope Eyes

Burning Skies & Kaleidoscope Eyes

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

He saw her go by,
But didnt say hi.
He watched her from the shadows,
Thought she looked sweet.
Sweet like apple pie.

She walked toward the sunset,
Towards the burning sky.
But she didnt have
The wings to fly.
Burning, she would die.

Deep down, he urged to say hi.
To ask her why,
But he would never know
That she was the girl
With kaleidoscope eyes.

I believe you could turn this into a lyrical verse...
if you play with it a bit...
just has the feel as you read the lines...
the repeating words...at times hinder --
yet in this one that actually helps this go along the way...
but I insist this can be more a song...
the title and way you presented this to the reader...
and the last line could be the hook:

Deep down,
he urged to say hi.
To ask her why,
But he would never know
That she was the girl
With kaleidoscope eyes.

a thought --- but this is your work and just IMPO...
