A Poem by I Am Svetlana

She flashed her smile.

She teased.

Their worlds side by side,

There was only one adventure.

Some sort of romance must have followed.

Around the fire,

She danced away.

If things turned nasty,

He figured he could shrivel up and die.

The day held so many layers,

He waited for her to call.

Waited and waited for that call.

But knew she wouldn't.

"She gave me great happiness," he said.

She would never see him again,

Because she will always be

A teaser.

The ending of the poem came to be my favourite...but the beauty of words was consistent all throughout the poem :)
