Black Cat

Black Cat

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Oh, black cat
You bring an unwanted presence.
Spreading evil with your yellow eyes.
They mesmerize, then hypnotize.
Your sleek fur makes you invisible.
Haunting, watching, wanting.
Hunting in the midnight glare.
Your home is everywhere.
What is it that you search for?
Where is your most luscious snack?
Oh, black cat.
Black cat.
