Paper FacesA Poem by I Am Svetlana
I'm so drained from this town.
Always passing those with paper faces. I slunk off to the sewer below In hopes of gaining back sanity. Instead, I dropped my heart into the water And watched it float on down the tunnel. Playful, daring. Not anymore. I surely was not close to that. Embracing sadness, Insides shredding beyond belief. Nothing balanced out. Would this categorize me As just another paper face? © 2014 I Am SvetlanaReviews
