Dancing by Myself

Dancing by Myself

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

I would ask you

To dance with me,

But you are nowhere

To be found.

We could dance

In the sunshine,

In the rain

While the leaves fall.

I'm already on the porch,

Umbrella prepared for the storm.

But no sunshine, no raindrops.

No you, either.

I guess I could

Just close my eyes,

Twirl my umbrella

In the empty air.

And dance

By myself.
