Coming Alive

Coming Alive

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

I was the one
To send up the first signal.
Clearly, I'm not needed,
But I feel the sun
Like a million flowers on fire.
I tear the sky of its many clouds
And feel myself turning.
Slowly, beneath the branches,
I come alive again.
