When Will You Come Back?

When Will You Come Back?

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

There you lay.
Wrapped around me.
You sleep naked,
While I remain in clothes.
Sometimes, I question:
What makes me love you so?

Your arm wraps my head,
As if protecting me from dark dreams.
I feel your cheek, warm against mine.
I hear your breath.
Your snoring keeps me sane.
It'll be gone when we wake...

All the time you're away,
I listen to those sad songs.
Just knowing that somehow,
They'll help me envision you again.
If you weren't in my life,
What darkness would I encounter?

Every blank moment,
I sleep or watch porn.
Just to distract myself
From missing you so bad.
Baby, when...
When will you come back?
