Me and a Drink

Me and a Drink

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Internet down,
But I've found my comfort
In a drink.
Such a simple thing as
Tea and Vodka.
It burns my throat,
But tastes like the
Perfect pineapple.
Should I puke?
Should I sleep?
The pen keeps me awake.
No life here,
Just me and a drink.

I don't drink anymore myself. I like the rhymes here and the simple idea as offering for the reader.

You are a very good poet. :)

This sound a lot like how I lived my late Twenties.
