Not Just a Photograph

Not Just a Photograph

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Together, ecstasy.
Why did that feel comforting?
Facing certain forces
which intrude upon beauty.

We had to
find our garden.
Fall into rhythm again.
Become mute as snowfall.

Out of reach,
desperate to recapture.
To make them remember
we aren't just a photograph.

No mirrors, no blades.
We might melt together.
Never cared about getting caught,
love molded us a mutual attraction.

Great work Svetlana... really enjoyed the way you didn't just say "out of reach, desperate to recapture. To make the remember we aren't just a photograph." You went further and explained you didn't care if you get caught and that love molded you... great descriptions.
