Angel

Angel

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

I drown out
her name.
She notices anyway.
You can't tell
until she talks.
Obliterating the wall
with her words.

Meeting anyone I wanted
to talk to was hard,
but she was a glorious angel.
As if hewn from stone.
I made a mistake
of falling in love with her.

A private dance
to silent music.
But realizing that
it was all only
a vision.
