Seas of Lust

Seas of Lust

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Floating in the
seas of lust.
I couldn't say goodbye.
How long would
the waves carry me?

I knew you were
telling the truth.
All I wanted was
to smell flowers.
To pass books
back and forth.
To wander free
with buckets of paint.

Can't you see?
I have to be smart now,
or it won't matter
if I heal.

A broken image and story very well relented. This is one poem made for distance. Thanks~

This is an awesome write Svetlana! "How long would the waves carry me?" That's a great question when it comes to lust... it always fades away and comes to an end. Great write :)
