All We Have

All We Have

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Just another day
in a forbidden place.

Abandoned near the wall
where no bullets find you.
I always forget
surviving is an accident.

Walking around in a wasteland.
My brain shackled,
severely dysfunctional.

I sit in the skeleton chair,
always remembering:
"We are all we have."
