Strangers

Strangers

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

I remake myself
in my own image.
Forming a cage.
Surrounded by
uneducated people.
Within them,
I found a rhythmic glow.
Understanding the
pain and discovery.
Maybe we're strangers,
no matter where we go.
